The Sculpture Park is at City Hall and provides a perfect setting for exercise, relaxation and of course, art appreciation. This is a 2.5 acre area dedicated to the display of both permanent and touring works of art by very talented artists of varying styles and visions. There are two manicured gardens, one called the Bellaflora Gallery and the other the California Gallery that are available for public use.

Redding is well known for its walking trails and the park ads an additional 1/3 mile of multi-purpose trail to the network. The network of trails in town encompasses the Civic Center campus and link to the Sacramento River Trail.

There are stone and metal sculptures in the garden and Mosaiculture pieces situated about the grounds. The park also offers 135 trees, benches and picnic tables for the people to enjoy.

Internationally known sculptor Yongjin Han’s has the largest permanent exhibit in the park. There are also works by John Martin Streeby and Norman Libby, both from Redding. The Mosaic Sanctuary was created by Colleen Barry. The mosaic bench and carpet are designed to provide a vantage point for rest and contemplation.

The city of Redding proudly shares their 41 city parks and 9 school parks with visitors. These sites total 225 acres within the city limits.

Come to Redding for a chance to take a break from the hassle of travel, sit in the park, relax and regenerate. The people of the community will welcome you to their lovely town
