Entering the Sacramento River Trail at Redding you will be able to participate in motor boating, kayaking/canoeing; fishing; hunting; swimming; tubing; birding; photography; Nature observations and walks. Everything that you could want on a trial is available here.
There are approximately 20 areas that are access points in this area. This area is considered the northern section which covers the area north of Shasta Lake known as the Sacramento Gorge and the section south of Redding to Red Bluff known as the Iron Canyon.
