For every person that has an interest in tools this museum is a must see. Containing over 5,000 different items such as wrenches, Blacksmith tools, Tune up related items, antique jacks, service station items and an assortment of plumbing tools, soldering irons, electric tools and than grinders along with an array of other items.
Not only are there tools that have been used in the US but there are tools from 4000 years ago which would be the first tool made by man (probably), tools made by Egyptians & Romans in approximately 400 BC, an 1835 Monkey Wrench and other tools from the 1800’s.
There are over 215 Ford tools for Model T – Model A – Fordson and Ford Tractors along with tools for trucks and early V/8 valve tools. You will also see over 50 tools used by blacksmiths, 125 tools representing 51 different railroads, Old gas pumps and equipment form service stations, farm implements and a whole lot more!
Come to visit this fascinating museum and think about the genius that created the different tools for different functions, even as long ago as 4000 years!!
Carl (Bud) Bolt and his wife Laila have created this fantastic walk through history. Bud believes that “If all the tools were to disappear from the earth tonight and we could make no more, I believe we would revert back to the Stone Age in considerably less time than anyone would imagine.” Quite a frightening thought, let’s rejoice in the fact that we do have tools to use and new ones being created for every new need.
