When you visit San Francisco you will most certainly want to take the time to go visit Fisherman’s Wharf.  Grab a ride on the San Francisco Cable Car to get to the Wharf.

During the day there is continual entertainment for your enjoyment on the Wharf and it’s free!  There are magicians, human robots, musicians, jugglers, clowns and fire-eaters showing their talent and welcoming you to the great location of Fisherman’s Wharf.

At night you may want to have a romantic dinner while you overlook the bay from one of the Wharf’s many restaurants.

You might want to go to Turbo Ride which is a marriage of high-resolution film and digital control hydraulics that takes you on an action packed adventure with the hydraulic seats that move in sync with the action on the big screen.

Maybe you want to see the Wax Museum which was newly constructed in 2000. As one of the world’s largest wax museums it will show all aspects of life from the ignoble Chamber of Horrors to the inspiring Hall of Religion, including the historic Library of U.S. Presidents, the spectacular Recreation of King Tut’s Tomb and the unique Palace of Living Art, where the world’s most famous masters, and their masterpieces come to life through the magic of was artistry. There is a comedy club for your entertainment and live music at a couple of the clubs, take your pick of Blues or Jazz.

Located at Pier 45 is the exhibit tracing the fascinating history of Amusement Attractions in America.  Amusing America is the story of participatory commercial amusements in American cities, particularly in San Francisco, and how this changed American life.  This new FREE attraction invites residents and visitors to take a roller coaster ride into history.  You will travel from the Gilded Age of the 1800’s and 90’s to WWII, world’s fairs, amusement parks, Ferriswheels, dance pavilions, arcades and swimming baths changed the way Americans lived.  Open daily from 10 -8.
