Coming to life in 1991 this volunteer run organization began the task of restoring, operating and doing the maintenance of antique railroad equipment. They hope to have a depot in the future that will house a museum highlighting turn-of-century technology.

Currently the group has a 1907 Baldwin 0-4-0 Steam Locomotive and tender that are operational; a Replica 1870 Passenger Coach which is operational; 1894 Los Angeles Yellow Line Trolley Car, operational; 1950 Fairmont Speeder, operational; Four 1883 Mining Gondola Cars (which are now used for passengers), operational; 1907 San Francisco Cable Car which is currently in restoration; 1937 Southern Pacific Caboose, static; 1960 Santa Fe Boxcar, static. All of these and the growing collection are there for your pleasure and remembrance.

Hours: Saturdays: 10 – 4; Sundays: 11 – 2, No operations second Sunday of the month.

Steam: 1st and 3rd weekends of each month except January and February. Trolley 2nd weekend of each month; Speeder 4th weekend of each month. If, for some reason these are not available, other equipment will be used. (If the 1st day of the month falls on Saturday or Sunday, that weekend will be considered the 1st weekend of the month for scheduling purposes.)

Fare Schedule: Steam: $2.50 for Adults and $0.50 for children; Trolley: $2 for Adults, $0.50 for Children; Speeder: $1.50 for Adults, $0.50 for Children.

Special Events: July: Old Fashioned Fourth of July; September: Rendezvous in Poway; October: Train Song Festival; December: Christmas in the Park.
