There is a little kid in everyone and LegoLand California will help to release that phase of your life. Here you can ride over 50 super rides, see shows for the whole family and attractions all made of Legos! It won’t require that you have a child with you to visit this place, you can go and enjoy it regardless of your age, just make sure you are a Lego “lover”.
You may want to take the Lost Kingdom Adventure and ride the all-terrain roadster on a journey to recover stolen treasures. You just have to blast your way through targets with laser guns along the way. There are 10 different challenges in this ride so if you are an Indiana Jones follower you may really enjoy pitting yourself against the odds.
For the little ones with you make sure they get to Cargo Ace where they will become pilots of one of the eight airplanes and fly up to six feet into the air. If they are just a bit older (or taller) they ay enjoy the Beetle Bounce where they are boosted to nearly 15 feet high toward the Lego beetles overhead.
Join in the Splash Battle where you will have your own water cannon to use as you navigate through pirate-infested waters. You can aim your cannon at spectators and other riders. What a way to cool off on a hot summer day!
Not only can you play in the water with the Splash Battle but you can join in with the Soak-N-Sail where over 60 interactive gadgets and devices pump and spray hundreds of gallons of water. It would be wise to bring a swimsuit along for this adventure, a towel and a change of clothes.
For the really little ones you can take them to the Swabbies Deck at Pirate Shores where they can play in the crystal clear water and be surrounded by pop-up water jets, playful water fountains and delightful squirt cannons. If you choose to bring your little one for this be sure to have them in swim diapers, they are required for all children under 4 years of age. The same is true for the Splash Battle.
Knight’s Tournament will give you a thrill of a different type. Here you will cross a medieval moat, select the intensity of your ride experience and embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure aboard one of six passenger-carrying robotic arms. How cool is that???
The Dragon is a roller coaster of a different fantasy. You will encounter twists, turns and hills with a look behind the scenes of the enchanted LegoLand Castle. This dragon looking roller coaster will be a delight for the whole family and something you can tell your friends about when you go home.
There are even Lego horses for the kids to ride through an enchanted forest, complete with jousting Lego Knights.
Lego cars make it possible for kids 6 to 13 to drive where they can learn about all the traffic safety rules and earn a LegoLand drivers license.
When you have had enough of the rides you can spend some time in the Lego Club House where you ca stock up on bulk Lego bricks, Make and Create kits and much more. Everyone that loves Lego’s will enjoy this stop.
The price of admission to the park covers the cost of all rides and attractions although there is a charge for some specialty items such as face painting and rock climbing.
You can get a 10% discount if you are a AAA member, just show your card.
