Disneyland Park_1.jpgDisneyland Park in Anaheim, California is celebrating its 50th birthday with an array of special shows and attractions.

There are rides for the entire family from the Matterhorn Bobsleds to the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad as well as others.

Be greeted by the characters that make Disney speical. Say hi to Alladin, Cinderella, Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and more. Just think of your faviorite character and you will be able to see them at the park.

There are family adventures like the Astro Orbiter, the Haunted Mansion and a wide selection of other activities. Take the kids, become a kid again yourself and enjoy this area.

There is an area that is specifically designed for the little ones to enjoy. They can have rides on a number of rides designed just for them. Casey Jr. Circus Train will enhance them; Dumbo the Flying Elephant will have them squeeling with glee; visit Winnie the Pooh and all the others at this area of the park.

Disneyland has a Monorail to get you around the park. You can also take the train or the horsedrawn carriage ride.

There is continual entertainment at the park for you that want to watch the shows. Shows during the day and presentations in the evening too.

Dining can be an adventure too, you can choose between casual dining or fine dining, what ever you want you will be able to find during you visit to the park.

Directions to the Park: There are many ways to reach the park, suggest that you pick you beginning point and then either check Disney’s website or go to Rand McNalley to get you where you want to be.

Park Hours: 8 AM – 11 PM

ATMs
Disneyland® park: ATMs are located at Main Entrance, Main Street, U.S.A., Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland. Disney’s California Adventure™ park: ATMs are located at the Main Entrance, Bay Area, Pacific Wharf, and Hollywood Pictures Backlot. Downtown Disney® District: ATMs are located across from the Haagen-Dazs® ice cream store and next to LEGO® Imagination Center.

Baby Centers
Disneyland® park: The Baby Center is located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., across from the Central Plaza next to First Aid. Disney’s California Adventure™ park: The Baby Center is located next to the Mission Tortilla Factory in Pacific Wharf area. Downtown Disney® District: Sorry, Baby Centers are not offered in Downtown Disney® District.

First Aid
Disneyland® park: First Aid is located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., across from the Central Plaza next to the Baby Center. Disney’s California Adventure™ park: First Aid is located next to the Mission Tortilla Factory in the Pacific Wharf area next to the Baby Center. Downtown Disney® District: First Aid is located between Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen and Island Charters.

Kennels
Indoor Kennel facilities for the Disneyland® Resort are located to the right of the Main Entrance of Disneyland® park. The Kennel is available for a charge of $15.00. Sorry, there are no facilities for overnight accommodations.

Lockers
Disneyland® park: Lockers are available outside the Main Entrance and on Main Street, U.S.A. Disney’s California Adventure™ park: Lockers are located at the Main Entrance and the Golden Gateway. Downtown Disney®; District: Lockers outside the Main Entrances to Disneyland® park and Disney’s California Adventure™ park are available for use. Locker rentals at all locations are $6, $7, $8, $10, or$12 per day, depending on the locker’s size.

Stroller Rental
Disneyland® park: Strollers can be rented inside the Main Entrance and at the Star Trader in Tomorrowland. Stroller rental fee is $8.00. Disney’s California Adventure™ park: Strollers can be rented inside the Main Entrance in Golden Gateway and in Condor Flats at Fly ‘n’ Buy. Stroller rental fee is $8.00. Downtown Disney® District: Sorry, stroller rentals are not offered in Downtown Disney® District.

Wheelchair Rental
Disney’s California Adventure™ park and Disneyland® park: Wheelchair and Electric Convenience Vehicles rentals are available inside the Main Entrance for a fee of $8.00 for Wheelchairs and $35.00 for ECVs. Both require a refundable deposit of $20.00. Downtown Disney® District: Wheelchair rentals are not offered in Downtown Disney® District.

    I have been 2 both disneyland and disney world and liked them both but if i we're to go back 2 one over the other it would be disneyland because of the fact it was the first on built and seem's so much more family oriented pluss i have a love for the state of california so much 2 do and see out there.
