The grounds are beautiful with over 12,000 flowers planted annually amongst the many rushing rivers, trickling streams, and cascading waterfalls.

Children’s Hands-On Museum -
When the Easter Seals Society saw a need for a special place for children to learn and grow, they took action and opened a museum in 1989 designed especially for kids.
This inter-active museum has a wide range of things for kids to do, while having fun and learning. It is a place where both children and their parents can work on things together for fun and learning. Just visualize your child painting your face in the face painting area that could be a true time of laughter and bonding!
The Asistencia -
The original Estancia ranch outpost of the Mission San Gabriel was built in 1819 as an outpost for cattle grazing activities. The Asistencia buildings that are there today are reproductions built in the 1930’s and located approximately one mile east of the original Estancia site.

California’s Mount Whitney measures as the highest peak in the lower 48 states. Its most famous climb is Mount Whitney Trail to the 14,495 feet summit. Wilderness permits are required.
In 1925 a giant sequoia located in California’s Kings Canyon National Park was named the nation’s national Christmas tree. The tree is over 300 feet in height.
